Lindsay Vogelman graduated from Syracuse University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations & Marketing. Bright-eyed she moved to New York City for the fast paced media relations firm, Shadow PR. Over the years her career has grown and today she is loving her job as Special Events Manager with Tommy Hilfiger.

Just two years after college Lindsay's world was turned upside down, her dad was diagnosed with cancer; Diffuse Large B Cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Lindsay quickly learned that cancer does not discriminate and it CAN happen to anyone. Armed with this information, love for her dad, and dedication to kick cancer's butt, she made a major career change and applied for a job with the world's largest sports endurance-training program, Team in Training (TNT) at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), kicking off her incredible introduction to LLS.

Over the next five years Lindsay was very active with TNT running (4) half marathons and (2) 10K's with her friends and family team, LL Cool Kids. She also spent time supporting the first 3 RALLY candidates, all of which were named the NYC Chapter Man/Woman of the Year. Meanwhile at LLS, her job transformed from Corporate & Community Development Coordinator for TNT to Campaign Manager for Man & Woman of the Year and one might argue this is where her love for the 10 week challenge was truly ignited.

Lindsay was nominated to participate in the 2016 Man & Woman of the Year Campaign, an incredible fundraising effort from April 14th to June 23rd, 2016 where candidates compete to raise money for LLS. After working for the organization and watching her dad enter his 3rd year in remission Lindsay could not imagine passing up the opportunity. Together with her campaign team, Lindsay hopes to raise over $200,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Lindsay is originally from New Rochelle, NY and currently lives in New York City. Some fun facts; she is a twin (to her awesome brother Jonny), she can solve a rubik's cube faster than you, and even though she's run (4) half marathons… she really kind of hates to run which should motivate all the non-runners out there to give it a shot (for a charity of course)!
